Q. How long does it take to complete a typical design?
A. Design times vary depending on complexity and current work load. Most designs take about a day to prelim and a couple of days to complete with details.
Q. What is included in a typical design?
A. Mold assembly drawings of plan views and section views, bill of materials, detail drawings, and 3D models of the complete design.
Q. How do your prices compare with other mold design services.
A. Our prices are always competitive and repeat customers receive discounted pricing.
Q. What are your payment terms?
A. Most designs are net 30 days. On multiple packages of designs or unusually complex jobs half down may be required.
Q. What file formats do you work with?
A. All designs are completed in Solidworks. However, any major type of translation can be used such as Iges, Step, and Parasolid.
Q. Do you offer part design services?
A. Occasionally. Our primary focus is mold design, but we will handle part design if needed. For large scale part designs we have a partner company which can provide excellent services. www.designtheproduct.com
Q. Where are you located?
A. The historic little town of Globe, Arizona. Approximately 100 miles east of Phoenix and 100 miles north of Tucson.
Q. Can you meet with us in person?
A. Yes. If you are located anywhere in the United States we can fly out to meet with you in person.
